A Beautiful Summer Wedding at Dunston Hall in Norfolk
Julie and Jonathan’s wedding at Dunston Hall in Norfolk was a truly unforgettable day, set in the stunning surroundings of this grand country house venue.
Having first met them at a wedding fair at Sprowston Manor, it was so lovely to then be part of their special day and see everything come together.
From Wedding Fair to Wedding Day
It’s always nice to meet couples before their wedding day, and Julie and Jonathan booked me after we chatted at a wedding fair at Sprowston Manor in Norfolk.
From the start, I knew their day was going to be something special, and it didn’t disappoint.
A Grand Norfolk Wedding Venue
Dunston Hall is such a beautiful venue, with its impressive architecture, elegant interiors and extensive grounds — perfect for wedding photography in Norfolk.
It really gave Julie the perfect setting to feel like a princess on her wedding day, which is exactly what she had dreamed of.
And she absolutely did — she looked amazing.
The Hottest Day of the Year
Their wedding took place on the hottest day of the year, which meant we had to be a little creative when it came to photography.
To keep everyone comfortable, we found shaded spots around the grounds for family photos, making sure no one was standing in the full heat for too long.
Exploring the Grounds by Golf Buggy
One of the highlights of the day was heading out across the grounds in golf buggies with Julie and Jonathan to capture their couple photos.
Dunston Hall has so many beautiful locations, and this gave us the chance to make the most of them — even in the heat.
Despite the temperatures, Julie and Jonathan were amazing and completely embraced their photo session, and we created some really beautiful, natural images.
A Relaxed and Joyful Day
The whole day had such a relaxed and happy atmosphere, with friends and family coming together to celebrate.
As a wedding photographer in Norfolk, these are the moments I love capturing — genuine laughter, real emotion, and everything in between.
Evening Fun and Smoke Bomb Photos
As the day cooled into the evening, we headed back outside with a few of their friends for something a little different — smoke bomb photos.
These are always great fun and add a creative, colourful twist to the wedding gallery. Everyone got involved, and it was a brilliant way to end the day.

Dunston Hall is always a fantastic venue to work at, and I’m really pleased to be returning there for more weddings this year.
I’m already looking forward to being back at Dunston Hall in the summer, capturing more beautiful weddings in such a stunning setting.
